Supporting Our Community’s Children
Fueled by motorsports enthusiasm and a charitable engine, Houston’s car club and racing communities came together to raise funds and awareness to address child abuse in Harris and surrounding counties.
The 4th annual “Drive For Kids” event, title sponsored by Lupe Tortilla in partnership with MSR Houston Charities 501(c)(3) hosted and offered registration for up to 400 cars to participate in charitable fundraising parade laps, a VIP car exhibition and the opportunity to gather with sponsor vendors, Houston area celebrities and fellow motorsports enthusiasts in support of two local children’s charities: Child Advocates and Arms Wide Adoption Services. Each of these charities shared the proceeds from this event to support their ongoing missions.

What to Expect at Drive for Kids
Participants will receive a Drive for Kids t-shirt, plus breakfast and lunch from Lupe Tortilla. Enjoy morning parade laps, a VIP car exhibition, afternoon hot laps, and the chance to connect with sponsors and fellow motorsports enthusiasts. Exhibit your car and join the morning parade laps, or fundraise $500+ for afternoon hot lap access. Car clubs can also fundraise as teams.

Join us by exhibiting your car at MSRH and also driving parade laps in the morning session.
Help us fundraise by having your friends, family and coworkers sponsor you; and if you raise $500 or more and you can earn hot lap session access in the afternoon and win an award at the same time! Use our online registration process and tool to notify your sponsors about the event and your need for their support!
Super Car Exhibition
Have a super cool car and you want a VIP parking spot under the tent? Register to show your super car (or your daily driver) at the event in the VIP parking area for a small added donation.
Car Club Fundraising
The event is also set to allow car clubs and make clubs to raise funds as a team. The top fundraising car brand chapter will receive the Drive For Kids Pole Position Trophy acknowledging the club’s performance for most funds raised by the brand.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to space considerations, only registered participants & spectators cars will be allowed on the MSR premises the day of the event. Registered participants & spectators are welcome to bring an additional guests in their car to attend the event with the registered participant.
